Hello, my name is Laura. I am an eighteen year old originally from New York City, but am now residing upstate for college. I have an irrevocable love for The Beatles and Lady GaGa, and more recently, The Strokes, Lily Allen, Arctic Monkeys, and Amy Winehouse. Besides them, my appreciation for music mostly subsides in the vast rock and indie categories, but also includes pop, hip-hop, rap, folk, blues, R&B, and jazz. I enjoy the color pink, cosmetics, alone time, summer, road trips, big cities, equal rights, and vodka. I am fascinated by how often my interests change.
The first time I heard Wake Up Alone [Original Recording] by Amy Winehouse off of Lioness: Hidden Treasures, my body started to shake uncontrollably, I gasped for air, and then I just started to sob.
